Position Summary: PRN Family Medicine and Urgent Care Receptionist
Essential Job Functions:
- Welcomes patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries appropriately.
- Scheduling appointments in person, by telephone or through computer software systems.
- Obtains and accurately recording patient demographic, insurance and billing information.
- Collects co-payments, receives payments and reconciles daily cash reports.
- Responds appropriately to unexpected office events.
- Contributes to team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dependable, friendly and professional
- Medical office experience preferred but not required
Hours: As needed, schedule varies 7:45 am – 8 pm
