Job description
We have an immediate opening for a receptionist in a fast-paced private neurosurgery practice. Hours of operation are typically 8:30 am-5PM Monday through Friday; however, it varies depending on our patients' needs (including nights and weekends). We offer competitive hourly rates, health insurance, PTO and travel reimbursement. The compensation varies based on work history. Seeking dedicated individuals who will be key employees as we grow and evolve.

Primary responsibilities are, but are not limited to:
  • Providing a safe and therapeutic environment for daily treatment sessions.
  • Effectively interacts with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare workers.
  • Participate in coordinating office schedule, schedule patient appointments, & coordinate care.
  • Demonstrate a high level of flexibility to meet patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
  • Provide educational consultations to interested patients.
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Office administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, scheduling appointments, checking patients in & out of appointments, and handling all medical records in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Must react calmly in emergency situations and make appropriate and timely decisions.
  • This position requires travel to all our locations (Lake Worth, Palm Beach Gardens, Delray Beach, Boca, Hollywood, & Stuart).

  • Courteous & respectful attitude with all patients, staff, and doctors.
  • Physically able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree.
  • CPR/AED certified.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
  • Orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, or pain management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Proficiency in ECW
