The receptionist reports to the Executive Director and Administrative Assistant. The receptionist serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the organization. Under minimal supervision, the receptionist offers office support services to executive and office personnel at Club Apaseo El Alto. The receptionist also serves as a liaison to all internal and external parties and board committees and volunteer services after the Administrative Assistant leaves for the day; supports executive outreach, and administrative functions, and supports special projects by the Administrative Assistant. This position would manage classes and outside organizational functions and the overall organization of programs. This position would also allow for a student in the community to work since it is after school hours. Because of an overlap of the Administrative Assistant and Receptionist's work hours, this would allow the Administrative Assistant to train and teach the receptionist skills such as monthly reporting, grant writing, financing, organizational skills, office etiquette, etc.
Receptionist Job Responsibilities:
- Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
- Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.
- Answers, screens, directs phone calls and handles mail
- Maintains security and telecommunications system.
- Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries.
- Directs visitors by maintaining employee directories.
- Maintains security by following procedures and monitoring the logbook.
- Operates telecommunication system by following manufacturer’s instructions for house phone and console operation.
- Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Supports continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirement: Must be enrolled in school, at least 17 years old

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $16.00 per hour
