Overview:


We currently have a career opportunity for a RCSA Consultant to join our team located in ( Charlotte).

We have and opportunity at major client bank to field a team of 2nd line of defense control testers to assess the design of a set of controls (approximately 150) that have been developed in response to a customer remediation program they are executing in response to regulatory requirements.

Basic scope of work is to determine if the test designed for a particular control is appropriate, determine if there are any missing controls, perform testing, compare results to what the business came up with (validate business results) and document findings.

Successful candidates will have risk management/controls testing experience, with emphasis on evaluating and testing controls. Testing is defined as testing lifecycle of customer remediations, not a specific product or a process.

Responsibilities:
  • Familiarity with data analytics and governance
  • Familiarity with internal controls, auditing
  • Excel proficiency
  • Experience assessing risk and testing of related controls involving regulatory, financial, and operational processes within Consumer and Commercial Banking environments
  • Experience creating and executing effective test scenarios, against business processes
  • Experience identifying control risks, gaps in compliance, or deviations from customer remediation program guidelines and statutory requirements
  • Experience reporting of test results, working with the business line on issue resolution / exception processes, and other duties
  • Experience in regulatory reviews to determine harm and remediation to customers by national banking services
  • Experience documenting control test results in a regulatory compliant fashion in alignment with work paper standards
  • Experience reviewing internal controls work papers and providing feedback
  • Experience interacting with key bank employees about customer remediation procedures and processes
