Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians, Washington State Regulations, and Northern Quest Resort & Casino and Procedures.
• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
• Assist guests with fitting and skating equipment procurement.
• Keep skate racks organized and maintain skate inventory.
• During shift, rotate to shoe fitting area to provide skate rentals assistants to guests, greeting position and ice rink monitor.
• Sanitization of skate rental equipment, cleaning of surrounding areas and basic cleaning.
• Communicate with managers about guests, unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions.
• Always display excellent customer service.
• Assist guests during incidents or falls and contact management when necessary.
• Enforce ice rink policies, as needed, following ice rink protocol.
• Snow removal on the ice rink and paths around the ice rink.
• Sincerely thank guests as they leave and inviting them to return.
• Must come to work dressed for extreme weather conditions and in approved uniform.
• Collect signed waivers from guests and distribute wrist bands.
• Keep rink and surrounding areas clean.
• Monitor skaters and ensure proper ice safety procedures are followed.
• Responsible for alerting managers to any unsafe or potentially hazardous ice conditions.
• Execute policies and procedures professionally and accurately.
• Maintain ice during inclement weather or as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and guests.
• Assist in steady flow of foot traffic for Questmas Village tour.
• Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Experience

• Prefer one to three months related experience and/or training helpful; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

• Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure conditions.

Other Requirements

• At least 18 years or older.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit.
• Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Physical Demands

• Requires the ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Constantly requires the ability to give and receive detailed information through verbal communication.
