We understand that management, performance objectives and feeding practices can be vastly different between operations, and that these differences dictate specific nutritional or formulation requirements. Our experienced sales staff and nutritionist will work with the producer to design a feeding program that is specific to their operation.

Job Summary

The Quality, Safety, and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all ingredient and product remain within compliance and meets LNC’s standard of quality, as well as ensuring the safety of all employees and practices. The Quality, Safety, and Compliance Coordinator must have knowledge of the feed and or grain industry.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist reviewing Quality Assurance Program.
• Ability to make recommendations to Safety and Compliance upgrades.
• Monitor all locations feed and ingredient assays. Notify Manager when out of compliance.
• Work with Location Fulfilment Managers to ensure their QA process and controls are being met.
• Ensure locations meet all FSMA requirements.
• Assist with safety training and audits at location level.
• Assist Location Fulfillment Managers and Regional Fulfilment Managers with updating Standard Operating Procedures and ensure consistency throughout all locations. On-site visits will be required.
• Provide monthly/weekly reports to Safety and Compliance Manager and Chief Operating Officer.
• Assist with new employee safety and compliance onboarding training.
• Ability to travel to locations for FDA and Safety audits.
• Attend continued education and trade events.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Conduct all activities in a professional manner.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Understand Agriculture process.
• Bachelor of Science Degree or 3+ years of successful experience in a feed or grain milling environment.
• A good understanding of OSHA/HACCP guidelines is needed.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills are required.
• Dedication to team environment.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast and ever-changing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to solve practical problems.
• Safety mindset.
