Boeing Defense & Space Mobility & Surveillance is offering an exciting opportunity for a leadership driven Quality Manager (level K) to join the USAF E7 program in Tukwila, WA.

This position will be supporting initial contract / program execution / test and certification activities for pre-production developmental prototype acquisition under USAF procurement.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees performing quality engineering and technical activities on or in support of programs through all phases of the product lifecycle

• Develops quality strategies and plans in support of new business acquisition and execution of program/business plans

• Provides education and coaching on the Quality System

• Acquires and manages resources, provides quality technical management and leads performance improvements

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports

• Oversees review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility

• Manages, develops and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience working with statistical data analysis and presenting the results

• 3+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment and/or business-unit teams

• 3+ years of experience working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS)

• 3+ years of experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventative Action, Root Cause Corrective Actions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors Degree or higher

• Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree in a Technical Field? (i.e. engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or similar)

• Experience with Boeing processes and procedures

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience leading or managing team under FAA Part 145 Repair Station activities

• Experience working with regulatory agencies (DCMA, FAA, and/or Military)
