Summary

Rennscot, an innovative manufacturing company, is seeking a full-time Quality Manager to join our team. The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet our quality standards. This includes developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting quality audits, and working with our operations team to identify and address any quality issues. The ideal candidate for this role will be passionate about quality and have a strong interest in furthering their knowledge and skills in emerging manufacturing technologies and the associated inspection and test requirements needed to ensure success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Conduct regular quality audits to identify non-conformances and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with operations team to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct physical inspections at various stages (receiving, outgoing, final, in-process).
  • Create technical document packages for customers at project completion when required.
  • Create, review, and disposition non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective action requests (CARs), and preventative action requests (PARs).
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including procedures and work instructions.
  • Train employees on quality control processes and procedures.
  • Conduct regular reviews of supplier quality and work with suppliers to address any issues.
  • Work with customers to ensure their quality requirements and specifications are met.
  • Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulations.
  • Consistently improve one’s own knowledge and skills

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least six years of experience in a similar role OR bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar discipline with at least two years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of quality control and quality management within a technical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Strong knowledge of various manufacturing processes with an emphasis on CNC machining and additive manufacturing.
  • Experience conducting audits within a regulated environment (ex. ISO 9001).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of, or experience with, ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards.
  • Experience programming and operating coordinate measuring machines (Zeiss Calypso experience preferred).
  • Experience leading procurement, adoption, and integration of new advanced quality equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
