Exciting things are happening at Edwards Vacuum where we manufacture a wide variety of industrial vacuum pumps for the semiconductor industry! Currently based in Chelmsford MA, we are experiencing record sales and are preparing to move into a brand-new facility in Haverhill, MA in the November 2022 timeframe. Haverhill offers beautiful sights and is located half-way between the City of Boston and the beautiful New England Seacoast (cityofhaverhill.com) (haverhillchamber.com).

As Edwards Vacuum's Quality Manager, you will develop, implement, and leader the Quality Assurance and control systems, with emphasis on continuous improvement and optimization.

· Drive reduction of operating cost through improved quality (reduction in defective parts, process errors / inefficiency and warranty costs).

· Support definition and development of manufacturing processes, minimizing manufacturing costs and lead times whilst maintaining specified quality levels and ensuring that a safe, repeatable manufacturing method is implemented.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

· Bachelor's Degree+ in Quality Engineering or similar

· 10+ years’ experience in Manufacturing Operations and processes

· 5+ years managing a quality team

· Knowledge of ISO 9000, Lean Six Sigma, Process Value Stream Mapping or Kaizen.

· Must bring solid Hoshin Kanri, X-Matrix and bowler experience.

· Building and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers.
