Description:

Leads internal audit efforts at the inspection stations on each production line. Reactively assists Quality Technicians and Engineer with investigations of shop floor quality issues. Proactively & systematically performs focused quality incident investigations on top issues.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect units for options and configurations to ensure compliance with model number and customer expectation.
• Enter defects identified at inspection station into electronic system.
• Correct minor issues identified at the inspection station and identify units with major defects for rework.
• Escalate quality issues to assign Quality Technician and Operations Leadership.
• Inspect quality of brazing operations and provide feedback to affected cells.
• Review wiring graphics and standard work to verify correct wiring of units.
• Collect and statistically analyze data in support of quality initiatives and other projects.
• Use problem solving methodology to identify root causes and corrective actions for defects found.
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Associates degree in technical field preferred.
• At least one year of experience in Operations or Quality in Lynn Haven.
• Minimum of one (1) year core employment service required.
• Must have working knowledge in the use of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, and Outlook).
• Active involvement in continuous improvement initiatives (like Quality, Training, or Safety coordinator) a plus.
• Must have demonstrated creativity and solid problem solving skills.
• Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and process documentation.
• Must be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to effectively build relationships with employees at all levels.
• Must have excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Must be flexible and able to work all hours including weekends and off shifts.
