Job description
AS A QUALITY INSPECTOR, YOU WILL:
- Inspect and test products based on internal quality requirements and procedures
- Support and participate in internal auditing activities as directed by NA Quality Manager or iCenter Continuous Improvement Specialist
- Maintain, test and troubleshoot all testing instrumentation devices, and log calibration activities and records
- Report problems or concerns to appropriate management and quality personnel with urgency
- Create data sets to be analyzed for production trends for indicators critical to quality
- Participate in QA training and support to factory personnel
- Support Inspection of incoming goods during receiving to ensure consistency and integrity of build material
- Conduct powered-on testing and diagnostic processes for various types of electronic controls packaged in cabinets or enclosures
- Support higher level quality activities such as process auditing of both internal and specialty compliance agency processes such as UL and CSA.

- High School Diploma
- Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder diagrams
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Two year technical or vocational degree in an applicable field
- Preference given to candidates familiar with DeltaV and other Emerson technologies and products.
