Maxim Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Quality Improvement RN responsible for analyzing, developing, monitoring and implementing clinical initiatives toachieve healthy outcomes as well as improving patient experience.

Responsibilities:
- Performs duties and functions tocomply with quality improvement program according to state requirements
- Supports Quality Assurance Performancework plans and initiatives
- Schedules and assists with committeeand sub-committee preparation
- Assists in investigations and resolutionof member quality of care complaints
- Audits medical records and monitorsperformance measures for health care risk management, sentinel events and trends
- Oversees and monitors the developmentand implementation of the quality improvement program
- Applies and teaches techniques forsystem design, re-engineering, quality improvement, outcome measurements and statisticalanalysis
- Develops and maintains all appropriaterecords and documentation
- Evaluates and assures on-goingprogress in QI activities
- Maintains confidentiality of theinternal audit reports
- Promotes an awareness of theimportance of data validity and security
- Performs quality assurance checks ofdocumentation workflows and clinical data in the applicable clinical applicationssoftware
- Participates in planning andcoordination of specific training and educational programs as appropriate to QI needs of thefacility or service
- Performs other duties asassigned/necessary
Minimum Requirements:
Registered Nurse license required- Certified Professional in HealthcareQuality preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- Minimum of two years clinicalexperience preferred
- One year of experience in a healthcaresetting preferred
- Knowledgeof quality improvement methodologies used in healthcare
- Demonstrated critical thinking andproblem solving skills applied on the job
- Ability to manage multiple tasks andmeet deadlines
- Ability to work independently withminimal supervision
- Ability to effectively elicit/provideinformation to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors,co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may berequired
