Quality Engineering Specialist

• Plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality control and quality assurance of manufacturing processes, materials, and products.
• Develops and establishes quality standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation; creates or reviews Control Plans and PFMEAs.Uses technical analysis to solve problems and improve processes both independently and on a team.
• Background in Die Casting, tight tolerance machining and assembly processes; experience with IATF 16949.
• Good knowledge of SPC.
• An extensive background in quality metrology.

Qualifications Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university, or four (4) to six (6) years related experience and high school diploma or G.E.D., or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Dependable, well organized and able to work independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• MUST Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check prior to employment.
