Our Customer is an American multinational consumer electronics retailer whose purpose is to enrich lives through technology. We are seeking a Quality Engineer on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote and candidates must be located in the Pacific Time Zone.

What You’ll Do:
Test high availability data-intensive systems that will be integrated with internal and external applications, and various other systems
Utilize event-driven architecture to provide a unified, aggregate view of Health Customer data and to serve as the basis for interfaces with various partners
Write test plans, create and execute manual tests, and write automation tests
Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth integrations
Work with technologies such as AWS, Java, .NET Core, Nifi, GraphQL, MongoDB, and more

Must Haves:
3+ years of quality testing experience
Experience in estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities
Experience in driving higher quality through clear and thorough test plans and scripts
Hands-on execution of manual tests with strong API testing skills
Capable of developing automated tests in Java and in Postman
Understanding of HIPAA and HiTrust compliance requirements
Knowledge of .NET and GraphQL
Knowledge of cloud-based SaaS implementations
Demonstrated leadership
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Organized and detail-oriented
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve conflict
Familiarity with continuous delivery processes and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Octopus)
Knowledge of MongoDB and SQL Server is highly preferred

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline or equivalent experience preferred

Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This role is 100% remote and candidates must be located in the Pacific Time Zone.

The salary range for this position is $59.79 - $62.45 per hour.
