Description:inTEST Corporation designs and manufactures engineered solutions for ATE and other electronic test, as well as industrial process applications. Our products are used by semiconductor manufacturers to perform development, qualifying and final testing of integrated circuits (ICs) and wafers, and for other electronic test across a range of industries including the automotive, defense/aerospace, energy, industrial and telecommunications markets. We offer induction heating products for joining and forming metals in a variety of industrial markets, including automotive, aerospace, machinery, wire & fasteners, medical, semiconductor, food & beverage, and packaging. Specific products include temperature management systems, induction heating products, manipulator and docking hardware products, and customized interface solutions. We have established strong relationships with our customers globally, which we support through a network of local offices. Headquartered in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, with four U.S. manufacturing locations and sales and service in seven countries. Businesses provide solutions for industrial process, thermal test and development and semiconductor test. We're not just semi, we make things hot and cold where it matters.
Quality Engineer Position Description

  • Delivers high quality service to internal & external customers
  • Ensures QA actions are taken to support production goals
  • Ensures compliance to appropriate requirements/regulation codes
  • Develops and documents quality processes for all business processes.
  • Lead the businesses effort to obtain and maintain ISO 9001 certification.
  • Lead the corrective action processes including customer communication.
  • Makes sure quality standards are up-to-date and in compliance with designs, drawings and specifications
  • Trains all necessary employees
  • Leads production inspections
  • Supports external audits administers internal audits
  • Investigates product failures and facilitate root cause analysis
  • Familiarizes with manufacturing, project management and engineering feedback to ensure QA
  • Conduct supplier quality audits

Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment; preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; required
  • Experience with ISO 9001 processes and audits
  • Experience with quality tools such as calipers, height gages, micrometers, CMM
  • Experience with processes such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, 8D’s, Fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or training; preferred
  • Related industry experience; preferred
  • ERP; experience preferred
