RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Obtain sample from the top of a reel for each shop order
- Obtain a copy of the manufacturing instructions along with an inspection report
- Enter the order number, quantity tested, reel number and date tested
- Check the quality and accuracy of print and appearance of jacket.
- Check construction and circuit identification against the manufacturing instructions
- Measure and record specified dimensions as required
- Record the conductor OD, and insulated OD, minimum insulation wall, maximum insulation wall and percent concentricity.
- Commit to plant safety procedures
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role
- Excellent written communication
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
- Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems
- Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
- Computer literacy
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
