Clayton Youth Enrichment is currently recruiting for a Quality Coach.

Clayton Youth Enrichment is Tarrant County’s largest, on-site, youth enrichment provider. The non-profit agency serves 7,000+ children and families annually through its after-school and other out-of-school time enrichment programs.

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: *
The role of the SEL Coach is to assess the implementation of SEL practice and curriculum at each site within their region. The coach will work alongside the Area Program Manager(s) (APM) to assess their region's program quality, collect data, train staff, and offer intentional individual, group, and onsite technical assistance coaching to better facilitate a high level of program quality and SEL programming fidelity.

  • Train, coach, and mentor APMs and Site Coordinators in SEL best practices and program quality expectations.
  • Train and prepare training center coordinators and staff to mentor and teach SEL best practices to new staff shadowing at their sites.
  • Ensure APM and Site Coordinators are trained in and understand program objectives, performance standards, and practices.
  • Perform and/or manage assessment and observation activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate a program’s overall success in implementing Clayton enrichment programming and social and emotional learning components.
  • Evaluate and categorize sites in terms of quality and effectiveness to assist in the creation of actionable plans for program improvement.
  • Identify organizational operational issues and suggest possible improvements.
  • Analyze collected SEL program implementation data to assist APMs as they determine the improvement goals at each program.
  • Prepare reports on program performance, best practices, and social and emotional learning activities.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating feedback meetings to promote ongoing communication.
  • Perform all other job responsibilities as assigned
