Job description
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Review documentation contained in the medical record for appropriateness and completeness.
2. Review/ Compose Plans of Care.
3. Review documentation for proper visit utilization.
4. Maintain knowledge of state and federal regulations and CHAP standards and all changes and updates.
5. Develop field staff documentation skills.
6. Gather data and statistics for QA program.
7. Participate in QA activities.
8. Review OASIS documentation
9. Maintain knowledge of interaction classification of diseases coding system to include revisions.
10. Perform QA audits.
11. Any other tasks as assigned by the QA Director or Administrator
Qualifications
- Must have excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
- Must have knowledge of Home Health Care requirements including OASIS
- Computer Skills a must (WellSky/Kinnser preferred)
- Must be detail oriented
- Must have a positive attitude and pleasant demeanor
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must feel comfortable working in a fast paced environment
