QC Tester – Consumer Content (Digital Package/DVD/BD/UHD)
Job description
Are you passionate about the Film or Technology Industry, or do you have relevant Education or Experience? We currently have immediate openings for Full time and Part Time QC Testers in our Film & Television Division for Consumer Content, which includes Digital Packages, DVD, Blu-ray, and UHD discs. We have openings in both the day shift and night shift.
Quality Assurance Disc Testers:
Testronic Testers verify basic menu functionality and A/V playback of content on various players to assure the quality of content and playability. We analyze Digital Files as well as DVD, Blu-ray, and UHD discs to ensure existing functions, and report or log feature compatibility or defects.
Only candidates with 1 year of experience, or comparable education, will be considered. Eligible candidates must also have the ability to legally work in the United States.

Key Responsibilities- Functionality testing
- Noting bugs or defects in an online database
- Doing tasks properly under deadlines
- Cooperation with team members working on the same project
- Communicate with coordinator and managers
- Adhere to company security procedures, take responsibility for equipment
- Proactively see to improve knowledge of testing procedures
- A minimum of one year of experience in Digital workflows, software testing, video games, DVD, or Blu-ray Testing, or relevant education in Film/TV, etc.
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- High level of integrity and ethics
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

- Digital Media Experience
- DVD or Blue-ray Authorizing
- Copy Editing
- Experience with Quality Control Testing of DVDs, HD, BD, or Games
- Post-production experience
- Experience in software testing
