  • 3+ year of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
  • Experience in manual testing
  • Experience in automation testing
  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
  • 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems

You will own the quality and performance of Manga services and features on Amazon JP website across all web and mobile apps. A successful candidate will have an established background in testing customer-facing experiences as well as backend services, a strong technical ability, mentoring, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment.

What You’ll Do:
  • You will own and deliver new feature experiments from inception to delivery and beyond. You will launch those that deliver customer value and fail fast if it doesn't.
  • You are responsible for the testing and improving the architecture of software solutions. You will innovate on testing frameworks, look for ways to maximize reuse of existing services, and delivering beautiful, highly performant and secure customer experiences.
  • You will work with cross-functional, geographically diverse development teams through design, delivery and support.

  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results
  • Experience contributing to technical discussions around decisions and technical strategy to enable long term program vision
  • A bias for metrics, experimentation/measurement and a data based approach to program management.
  • Experience with accessibility standards and data privacy standards
  • Experience with AGILE or other program management methodologies
