At Noble Foods (EMPWR group) we are not sitting still. In McMinnville, we currently have two production lines for protein bar and in the process of installing a third.

A new line for us, that means a lot of opportunities for you!

The QA Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring received raw materials meet the acceptance criteria for Noble Foods USA, including sensory and microbial requirements.

This position serves as backup to the Inventory Control Specialist and is backed up by the same position.

Will you join our team as the QA Receiving clerk?

A day in the life:

· FOOD SAFETY – Raw Material Verification and Traceability.

· FOOD SAFETY – Allergen Management.

· Verify that the ingredient and lot numbers match the PO received.

· Verify the completed Certificate of Analysis (CoA) has been received for each lot of all incoming ingredients, packaging and other raw materials.

· Review all raw material CoA’s per lot to ensure they comply with Noble Foods acceptance criteria or are sampled and tested prior to the use in any products.

· Obtain a retain sample of each lot number of received ingredients. Review and verify all documents for accuracy, noting deficiencies and inconsistencies.

· Properly tag the ingredients with allergen stickers, quality stickers, and pallet tags.

· Identify any damaged materials or non-conforming materials and place on quality hold for disposition.

· Release the ingredient for use once fully processed and approved.

· Perform other related duties or ad hoc projects within the scope of responsibilities.

What you bring:

· FOOD SAFETY – Notify Management of any Food Safety issue.

· FOOD SAFETY – Awareness of empowerment to act to resolve Food Safety issues within the scope of work.

· FOOD SAFETY – Conform to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).

· 3 or more years of relevant industry experience, food industry preferred.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Team oriented with the ability to work independently.

· Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)

· Computer literacy to operate internal and proprietary database systems.

· Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift, push and pull up to a maximum of 55.11lbs. (25kg).

· Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of an emergency situation required.

· Must be able to taste, smell, touch, and see for sensory reviews.

· Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend and stoop for extended periods of time.

· Must be able to climb a flight of stairs multiple times daily.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
