Job description

We are looking for a talented individual...

We have partnered with a regional utility company to implement a demand response program on their behalf. The program uses devices to cycle air conditioners on peak usage days for electricity. This involves working with a group of HVAC and electrical subcontractors who install and service the devices. You will manage all aspects of the relationship with the subcontractors. The chosen candidate will also travel from home to home, using a pre-determined route, and perform basic quality observations on the device to determine functionality, including looking at the wiring and lights on the device. No maintenance will be performed on the devices; this position requires observations only. The devices are outside, near the air conditioner. Walking outdoors throughout neighborhoods and driving will be required. The status and condition of devices will then be entered into a database for monitoring and reporting purposes.

To join our team as a Residential QAQC Specialist, you will fit right in with our energetic team if you are resourceful, resilient, and detail oriented. For this exciting career opportunity, you are a great fit if you can…

  • Manage a network of Quality Service Providers (HVAC and electric subcontractors) involving recruiting new QSP’s, executing contracts, ensuring contractual requirements are maintained, and managing invoicing.
  • Monitor and track the status of QSP work orders to assure timely completion.
  • Provide various reports to the client on inventory, work order completion, claims and fulfilling client expectations.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews involving on-site verifications of devices in the field and electronic review of field data entered into the program database.
  • Provide technical advice, guidance, and training on installation of control devices in accordance with client specifications.
  • Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products.
  • Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues.
  • Travel throughout a defined territory.

In this exciting career opportunity…

  • Job duties will consist of approximately 50% remote work and 50% field work.
  • Training will be provided – laptop, tablet, and vehicle will be issued to be used for work purposes.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • It is crucial to observe and record information accurately using laptop/tablet.
  • You need to be a responsible individual, requiring little supervision.
  • You must have an acceptable driving record.
