Job description

You will be part of a team engaged in the validation of BIOS/FW for Server/ client PC products. You will be working in a lab located at a client's site and a remote working option is not available.

You will responsible to work with client engineers to develop and deploy test automation framework and to automate the test cases to validate the features. Your job responsibilities include but not limited to

• Develop and implement test automation framework
• Understand the FW features and the test cases to validate them
• Automate test cases by programming
• Install and configure Hardware and software for test automation execution
• Test content development - Identify, verify and document test procedure for the product features
• Triage, file and follow through defects till closure
• Prepare test systems by assembling the required hardware, flashing FW and installing OS
• Work closely with Customer team to meet deadlines in test development and execution
• Publish daily and weekly status reports

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/ computer engineering
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Good understanding about validation of BIOS/FW/platform of Server/Client platforms
• 2+ years of experience in Python programming
• 2+ years of experience in test automation involving hardware devices
• Knowledge of various subsystems and interfaces in a PC Client/ Server system
• Ability to understand BIOS/FW/product features and develop test cases to validate them
• Ability to develop test procedures to validate product features
• Ability to assemble server/ client computer system
• Ability to propose solutions to test automation challanges
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with different teams
• Experience in assembling Si, CPU\PCH and test hardware as per Config sheet .
• Experience in execution reporting on daily basis ,Sighting creation and defect fix verification and regression analysis
• Must be working at client location in Hillsboro, there is no option for remote or Hybrid work.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
