A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth. Our Information Technology Project Management team collaborates with PwC practice leaders to develop and deliver technology solutions. We provide project management oversight and collaborate with various project resources and vendors to ensure the appropriate methodology is followed, deliverable quality is high, and satisfaction is achieved. Simply put, you’ll solve business problems using technology, work with multiple teams concurrently, and be able to take pride in end to end ownership of a project.

Reporting to the leader of the Data Solutions Program Management lead, this role is key to the success of the team and will be responsible for developing and growing locally managed Communities of Practice to drive adoption within the Data Platform.

Job Requirements and Preferences:

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum Degree Required:
High School Diploma

Minimum Years of Experience:
4 year(s) of progressive roles managing IT project management and strategy development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree

Preferred Fields of Study:
Information Technology, Computer Systems Analysis, Management Information Systems

Certification(s) Preferred:

Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader by:

  • Planning and leading global community initiatives;
  • Organizing teams and keeping track on cadence with them;
  • Demonstrating exceptional content creation, communication (verbal and written) and writing skills and effective storytelling to help get the audience hooked;
  • Demonstrating interpersonal and presentation skills and ability to manage Community sessions;
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts on various deliverables to elevate the quality and effectiveness of the content;
  • Demonstrating attention to detail, critical thinking and problem solving skills;
  • Providing input to documented requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs;
  • Working in a fast paced and agile environment;
  • Taking an initiative to self research and build expertise in the variety of platform technologies in use;
  • Providing community feedback back to leadership, stakeholders and product management;
  • Planning and executing community initiatives and programs;
  • Adjusting quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity and rapid change;
  • Possessing outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills; and,
  • Writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently in English to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, internal staff and management, proficiency in other languages.
