Metals USA - Lynch Metals division,is a nationwide metals service center who is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager for its Union, NJ facility. The candidate will be responsible for the management of the company's purchasing function, including directing and coordinating the procurement of materials, components, supplies, services, etc., essential to the operation of the Company. Such purchases to be required quality and quantity, at the most economical cost and of timely delivery. Promote quality of our operations and assure ISO 9001 procedures and measures are followed and maintained.
- Experience with Purchasing and Inventory Control
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Strong Manufacturing Background
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and strong organizational and planning skills are required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Excel, Access, Word, Outlook
- Ability to read and write English Language
- Ability to understand and use Safety Rules and Procedures
