The Role
The Purchasing Coordinator directly supports the sales, buying and account management teams by reviewing and processing purchase orders, working with vendors and maintaining pricing information. This individual is responsible for ensuring orders are reviewed and processes according to required deadlines and contracted pricing.

Major Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of purchase orders
• Confirm and update system with order information, including pricing and shipping dates
• Review and update vendor invoices
• Work with vendors on pricing negotiations
• Maintain pricing reports
• Escalate discrepancies as needed

Requirements for the Role

• 1 – 3 years’ relevant professional experience
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products – including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Independent decision-making abilities
