Responsible for administrative duties that support the Public Affairs Department in order to achieve agency advocacy, legislative, electoral and fundraising goals.

Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent relevant work experience required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative position preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and interest in women’s reproductive health care and rights.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to handle and prioritize varied tasks simultaneously.
- Accuracy and attention to detail essential.
- Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet).
- Ability to relate to diverse communities.
- Excellent verbal communication and written skills.
- Ability to apply commonsense and understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
- Professional demeanor at all times.
- Strong commitment to quality healthcare and excellent customer service is required.
- Must thrive in a fast paced, rigorous environment with changing priorities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Must demonstrate high level computer skills including; Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Electronic medical records experience may also be required.
- This position requires travel to other sites and locations; if using a personal vehicle to meet this requirement, a valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance in compliance with the minimum requirements of CA vehicle code are required.
- Plan, organize, schedule, and help support meetings and conference calls for the Public Affairs department, which also includes ensuring reservations, location, and technical aspects are completed.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas and take notes at all department meetings.
- Order office and event supplies and assist with tracking inventory of Public Affairs equipment as needed.
- Assist with preparation for presentations, reports, and correspondence for the Public Affairs department.
- Responsible for administrative support for the Public Affairs department, such as managing department calendars, scheduling meetings, answering phones and other day-to-day tasks.
- Assist in tracking, collecting and processing C4 timesheets for the Public Affairs department and other applicable departments.
- Responsible for monthly reconciliation of credit card and expense reports. Maintains accurate and organized files for the Public Affairs department.
- Processes invoices and payments related to Public Affairs activities under the supervision of the Public Affairs Project Manager.
- Coordinates travel logistics for Public Affairs activities as needed.
- Assist with the scheduling and advance of community and board meetings. Including assembling and distributing agenda and meeting materials, correspondence and taking minutes.
- Assist with advance of community outreach activities, special events and lobbying efforts.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and files of community outreach contacts and elected officials.
- Assist with data entry for various databases.
- Assist with Health Center Advocacy activities, such as coordinating and delivering staff incentives.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by department heads.
- Other duties as assigned.
