Friday- Sunday

8AM-4PM

4PM-12AM

12AM-8AM (Shift Premium)

We are seeking a reliable and organized Yard Dispatcher with security responsibilities to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the movement of trucks and trailers in and out of our warehouse facility. Additionally, you will perform security-related duties to ensure the safety of our employees, products, and facility.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the movement of trucks and trailers within the warehouse facility yard.
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all products, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor yard activity to ensure safety procedures are being followed.
• Communicate effectively with truck drivers, warehouse personnel, and management to ensure efficient operations.
• Perform regular safety checks and report any safety hazards or concerns to management.
• Conduct security patrols to ensure the safety of the facility and its occupants.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including screening visitors and vehicles.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents, including medical emergencies and security breaches.
• Prepare reports documenting security incidents and any other relevant information.
• Maintain accurate records of all yard activities and equipment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of safety and security procedures.
• Ability to use a computer and related software applications.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends, as needed.
• Must be physically fit and able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
