NESCA’s team currently includes 26 master’s- and doctorate-level clinicians and 8 administrative staff, offering neuropsychological evaluations, both domestic and international, psychological testing, postsecondary transition services, occupational therapy services, educational consultation, psychoeducational counseling, and integrative treatment services, such as personal & social coaching and therapeutic yoga.

Position Description:

• Detailed scoring of an extensive array of neuropsychological tests, including psychological and educational assessments.
• Evaluations are conducted by NESCA’s pediatric neuropsychologists, transition specialists, and occupational therapists and the psychometrician enters and compiles the data and drafts the tables and comments included in final reports.
• The psychometrician will also build familiarity with NESCA’s computer-based tests (e.g., T.O.V.A., I.V.A.) and will assist evaluators in setting up the hardware/software to run these tests, print results, and make sure the hardware/software is running smoothly (with support from IT as needed)
• Must learn and apply scoring rules for many different tests.
• Timelines for scoring can range from 24-hour to 2-week turnaround and so ability to manage time and prioritize multiple tasks is critical.
• Extremely detailed-oriented position.

Requirements:

• Previous experience scoring tests or doing data entry strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of statistical norms is preferred.
• Exquisite attention to detail and utmost precision (i.e., calculating scores accurately, transferring information from one format to another, reading numerical tables).
• The ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
• The ability to prioritize task demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to maintain attention and focus for a long period of time independently.
• Strong organizational and written communication skills.
• Strong computer and technology skills
• Experience with Microsoft Suite
• Interest in psychology/neuropsychology is helpful.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

FT Position includes:

COVID-19 considerations:
NESCA is following a number of safety protocols (masking, temperature checks, deep cleaning). Parent appointments occur via telehealth. We have also added plexiglass window/intercom between offices to enable truly no contact testing with clients.
