Position Summary:

Calm Clinic’s Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician assistant provides support for patients who are struggling with depression and anxiety. They specialize in educating these patients about proven alternative mental health treatments/psychedelic-assisted treatments, while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.

This is an independent contributor/1099 role. Company shall compensate Contractor for services provided hereunder at the following rates: $80.00 (Eighty Dollars) per scheduled hour of patient care at any Calm Clinic location (including normal Calm Clinic shifts being done via telemed due to State of Emergency); Capitated $95.00 (Ninety-five Dollars) rate per scheduled hour of patient care for any Telemed shifts; Except for increases in hourly rate provided at the discretion of the Company upon 3-6 (three to six) months of service.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

The role will include seeing and treating patients independently within requested schedule times for a minimum of two (2) hours a shift. The work days and hours may vary in certain circumstances and holiday weeks. Seeing patients and updating the patient chart notes with current information based on their last appointment. These notes must be completed within 24 hours of the patient’s last appointment. Completing and signing labs, letters, forms, prior authorization requests, or other medical records for patients. Requirements and Qualifications:

• State licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Desire to be an integral part of a rapidly growing team dedicated to transforming the mental health care system.
• Can rapidly establish deep rapport with a significant variety of people. Authentic, non-judgmental, focused presence, intuitive sensitivity, empathic while maintaining supportive structure, nuanced self-discovery, warmth, respect/appreciate different life trajectories.
• Experience with adversity and an active commitment to personal growth.
• Understanding of the physical and psychological effects of psychedelics.
• Deep compassion and empathy for others
• Knowledge of HIPAA and a background in working with confidential information
• A willingness to learn and a growth mindset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability and tools to work remotely
