Job Summary:

Manages the reimbursement and financial performance of the health system’s medical group to guide management decisions regarding practice operations and reimbursement of federal, state, and private insurance payors. Coordinates the development and continual review of all managed care payor contracts, including its respective value-based care programs. Completes routine financial analyses, assists in the annual budget of the medical group, and manages the medical group’s charge master dictionary.

Education:

Position requires a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Health Administration or related business field or 5-7 years equivalent combination of education and experience in related area.

Experience:

Position requires a minimum of 3 years previous healthcare finance and reimbursement experience including managed care payor contracting experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word. Experience with electronic health and billing records.

Other Requirements:

Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.Demonstrated proficiency of computer skills necessary to effectively complete position requirements, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.Ability to communicate professionally, verbally and in writing, and to promote a positive service atmosphere.Ability to work independently, prioritize concurrent projects, meet deadlines, follow through with deliverables, and produce quality work.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $50,963.18 - $138,979.73 per year
