Position Overview:

We’re looking for a Proposal Manager to oversee the Proposals Team and all phases of procurement response opportunities including, but not limited to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, sole source awards, and grants, and maintain updated referenceable content for products and services.

• Oversees procurement opportunities including, but not limited to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, sole source awards and possibilities, grants, etc.
• Leads kick-off meetings for applicable procurement opportunities
• Manages the proposal process from initial review of RFP/RFI to release of final deliverable to the client
• Manages the proposal effort through its full lifecycle, and ensures timely and accurate hand-off and delegation
• Identifies, tracks and escalates proposal risks
• Supports the bid/no bid process
• Leads post-submission activities including lessons learned and process assessment, and provides timely and effective feedback
• Analyzes and performs thorough proposal documentation review to ensure quality and compliance
• Allocates resources, manages expectations and performance and drives proposal team efficiencies
• Provides coaching, mentoring, technical and professional support to team members in an effort to support morale, team dynamics, team and individual professional growth

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Management, Business or related field
• Strong written/verbal communication and human relations skills required
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Appreciation of critical timelines and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively
• 5+ years’ experience in proposal writing and experience with management RFP content
• HTML and Adobe experience a plus
• Experience in software products, EMS industry is a plus
• Knowledge of current technology trends a plus
