As the Property Manager, you play an essential role in taking care of our #1 asset: our guests. You will be managing the front desk and housekeeping departments. We encourage any new coaching and development opportunities you may bring that will provide exceptional customer service.

  • Coordinate payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchases, and bank deposits.
  • Prefer 3 + years hotel experience in front and back office, including management experience.

  • Knowledgeable in Booking Engines: Expedia, Airbnb, Booking.com

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Financial Responsibility:

Coordinate payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchases, rent collections, and bank deposits.

Check Bank balances weekly and advise owner of financial discrepancies.

Complete a weekly audit of financials coming into the Hotel to avoid theft and nonpayment of guests.

Upload purchase receipts and invoices on Google Drive.

Management:

Manage housekeeping, front office, security, and building/grounds maintenance.

Ensure compliance with City and State licenses and taxes.

Ensure Staff compliance with State mandated training classes.

Verifies that all Fire Life safety and OSHA regulations are up to date.

Order supplies for the properties.

Manage inventories of hotel supplies.

Interview, Hire, and Release staff

Communicate with outside vendors, tenants, and guests on work orders and emergencies.

Train staff on technology and assist with issues.

Manage Occupancy

Respond to all booking engine inquiries, questions, and reviews.

Interact with customers to obtain feedback on service levels.

Respond and handle guest complaints.

Maximize occupancy rates and profitability through utilizing Internet Booking. Check rooms daily to ensure no vacancy.

Communication:

Communicate clearly and concisely with management about property issues, emergencies, and possible insurance claims.

Communicate with Management on non-payers and follow through on evictions.

Communicate with prospective tenants, screen applicants, write leases, and move them in.

Write a weekly to do list for each property and communicate when tasks are complete.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and Outlook. The candidate must have experience associated with administrative duties and possess strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple job functions. A strong background in customer service, some basic knowledge of building structures and experience in coordinating and scheduling are essential.

Candidate must submit to a credit and criminal background check prior to or during employment. Personal credit and background must be in good standing. Candidates will have transportation.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Writing work orders for Maintenance department based on information from tenants, technicians or based on information gathered from site visits.
  • Drafting Memos and/or making phone calls to Tenants related to lease issues and preventative maintenance scheduling.
  • Issuing keys to technicians/vendors, keeping logs of who has keys and ensuring return of said keys.
  • Perform all necessary functions to facilitate Tenant “Move In” and “Move Out” procedures including:
  • Informing the tenant of the lease obligations and presenting them with keys, notifying them as their expiration date approaches & informing them of their obligations upon move out.
  • Performing walk‐outs of units and writing work orders related to turnovers.
  • Processing Security deposit returns.
  • Obtaining Bids – landscaping, rubbish & maintenance/repairs.
  • Perform inspections and replenish inventory where necessary.
