Loenbro is looking to hire an experienced business development representative to join our fast-growing team. This role will be exclusively focused on driving revenue for the organization through the consistent development and monitoring of a sales funnel – specifically from the origination of leads to the hand off to the estimating department.

Job Duties:

  • Building a funnel within Salesforce of project leads by:

Combing through available project databases (IIR, SAM, etc.)

Cold Calling/Emailing Industrial Facilities

Online Market Research

Researching information provided by the field/managers

  • Qualifying project leads within Salesforce through:

Cold calling/emailing potential customers to find the contractor procurement
decision maker

Determining the size and scope of the project and deciding if our existing
operations have the capacity to pursue the work

Uncovering the project schedule and kickoff date

  • Coordinating meetings with Regional/Operations Managers and the customer decision makers with all this data pre-screened to ensure time is never wasted
  • Attending these setup meetings to better understand how to communicate with customers/typical questions/etc.
  • Tracking all activity within Salesforce so that sales funnel data can be analyzed and time can be managed accordingly
  • Working closely with operations managers to eventually run all new project through
  • Bonus Structure based off of number and size of qualified projects bid by estimating team

Skills/Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years business development experience required
  • Minimum of an Associate s degree in business preferred
  • Construction or Industrial services heavily preferred
  • Must have experience using Salesforce
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Team player
  • Strong time management skills
  • Good math skills
  • Able to work overtime when needed
  • $60-$85K base salary based on years of experience
  • $50-$55K base to incentive compensation based on performance
