The

Job Overview
The Project Researcher assists in the implementation of community-based, mixed methods evaluation protocols, ongoing data collection, entry and management, and report generation.
As new projects emerge or the need arises, they will be involved in various other related research and evaluation activities – in tasks that include but are not limited to library search and synthesis, database development, quantitative and qualitative data collection, aiding in the creation of scientific presentations, participating in research and evaluation team activities, and general office/administrative assignments.
Work Interactions
Supervised the Administrator of the GUCCHD and working under the programmatic direction of the Senior Evaluator at the GUCCHD, the Project Administrator interfaces with project faculty, administrative staff, team members from the DC Department of Behavioral Health and other local, community-based agencies.
They also participate as part of the Center-wide Research and Evaluation Core (REC), attending bi-monthly meetings and participating in REC activities and projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis and software - e.g., Excel and NVivo)
  • Strong written, oral communication and research skills
  • Ability to maintain a research and evaluation library and catalogue of resources
  • Good multitasking and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of library and web related research
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access) and familiarity with database management and data visualization
  • Willingness and availability to travel within the Washington, DC area to complete program activities
