PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
The Project Manager is responsible for a range of activities related to the design, planning, execution, facilitation, implementation, and completion of warehouse projects adhering to timeline, budget, and scope. Throughout the course of projects, they assign responsibilities, monitor and report on progress of projects, as well as prepare reports for leadership regarding the status of the project.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Determine and define project scope and objectives

• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner

• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan

• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables

• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed

• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell

• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.

• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Work is performed in a semi-quiet office setting or a noisy warehouse setting. Position involves computer and phone work.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field

• 5-8 years of project management and related experience

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

• Proven ability to solve problems creatively

• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle

• Excellent analytical skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful

• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
