About the role


The purpose of the Business Transitions & Move Management Project Manager position is to support clients with planning and leading relocation and decommissioning projects to ensure a seamless transition.


What you’ll do


  • Supports all facets of business transition move management-related project efforts (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual real estate projects.
  • Leading multiple relocations and decommissioning projects which includes responsibility for the overall strategy, logistics, execution, and close-out.
  • Lead, track, and coordinate BTMM-related work orders via a client-provided work order system including invoice reconciliation.
  • Maintains efficient, timely, and professional communication with our clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Prepares documents, vendor resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Identifies project resources from pre-qualified lists; Conducts simple requests for proposals; completes bid analysis with management support.
  • Coordinate and lead meetings; document and distribute meeting minutes
  • Will develop and coordinate move management database
  • Developing and issuing RFP’s; providing bid analysis and recommendations
  • Develop communications; newsletters, guidebooks, move instructions, etc.
  • Developing and coordinating pre-printed labels, signage, and drawings
  • Coordinating and scheduling building access for relocation and decommissioning teams
  • Coordinate and lead the command center for post-move issue resolution
  • Implements project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensures project data integrity is quantified and data metrics documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Auditing the standard methodology process for lessons learned, and process improvements


What you’ll need


  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University and/or equivalent related experience.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in a role related to move management, change management, or decommissioning
  • Candidate must have expert command of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with strong emphasis on managing, editing, and manipulating large Excel files. Experience in Smartsheet, Bluebeam and/or Adobe Pro, Zoom and/or Teams is a plus.
  • Effective, efficient, and professional verbal and written presentation skills
  • Ability to work weekends and possibly some holidays
  • Ability to be on your feet for 12 hours and lift 25+ pounds of weight when needed
  • Prior Project Management experience is preferred
