Purpose of Position

You will be facilitating teams of professionals in completing projects by a set deadline to uphold business initiatives. Projects will be collaborative; including Marketing, Sales, and Operations. Specifically, you will lead communication with staff, monitor progress, and schedule and conduct meetings. The Project Manager role will be heavily involved in determining and managing time resources for the company.

This position can be located in our Los Angeles area office in Pomona, CA., or our Portland, OR office.

Duties of Position

  • Guide Project Leaders through all phases of a project; initiation, investigation, approvals, incubation and implementation.
  • Delegate tasks to employees best suited to complete them;
  • Adjust schedules, targets and priorities on projects as needed;
  • Managing company-wide resources, particularly time, to achieve maximum resource utilization with overloading the system;
Requirements:


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong ability to work both independently and on cross-functionally teams;
  • Highly organized and detail oriented;
  • Skilled with project management tools like Smartsheet, ERP systems (like Sage X3), spreadsheets, word processors;
  • Ability to conduct meeting and make presentations;
  • Familiarity with CPG products; preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong willingness to take initiative, and to continuously learn and grow.

Education/Training & Experience

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Business Administration, Food Science, or other applicable degree.
  • Five years’ experience in CPG products; preferably food and beverage related.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified highly preferred but not required.
