We are looking for an experienced project manager to join our team. As a project manager you will perform inside sales activities and estimating, manage projects as they progress through design, fabrication and delivery, and communicate with vendors and customers to coordinate product ordering and delivery. You must have an ability to manage multiple projects, provide exceptional customer service and operate in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry with five plus years of project management experience.

Essential Duties:

• Prepare and report on budget and cost estimates including project timetables.
• Coordinate work with drafters, engineers, and support personnel for project production.
• Solve problems that arise.
• Work with Architects, Contractors and Building Officials.
• Manage self-storage projects from concept to completion.
• Help customers determine the scope and specifics needed for prospective projects.
• Prepare and deliver accurate building estimates.
• Cultivate relationships with customers and vendors.
• Planning, scheduling, and coordinating projects with manufacturing at all branches.

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other Federal, State and local standards
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
• Sit or stand for long periods of time

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Microsoft Access preferred, Microsoft Project a plus
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office
• Experience in effective decision making
• Highly organized, attention to detail
• Familiarity with construction materials, specifically framing, steel roofing, and coiling doors.
• Leadership, problem-solving and time management
• AutoCAD preferred
