PALFINGER is seeking a Project Manager Development Aerial Work Platform & Special Solutions.

Job Summary:

Development of new solutions for our customers and smart Project Management is the key to our success. Our project teams are international and located at company locations around the world. In this Role you are responsible to lead Product, System and Service Development Projects with co-located and virtual Teams. You are familiar with classic and agile project management methods. Additional is the support of the Project Management Organization within the company.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversees a team of managers and analysts to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
  • Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.

Responsibilities include:

  • Active Stakeholder Management and Communication
  • Internal and external Project Marketing and Reporting
  • Point of contact for the Project Core Team
  • Drive Project effectiveness by defined KPI’s and implement mitigations if necessary
  • Coordination of cross-functional project manager and Development Team
  • Perform active Project Risk Management
  • Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
  • Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field with a preference for engineering.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (PMI) or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.
  • Project Management experience in classical and agile methods.
  • Relevant Project Management experience in leading international Teams.
  • Experience in Communication and Stakeholder Management.
  • Willingness to travel.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,238.00 - $120,990.00 per year
