Responsibilities

• Develops project schedule and timeline with support of the team leveraging scheduling resources. Continually monitors status and takes action to ensure compliance to codes.
• Reads and understands design/construction drawings and specifications; has a technical knowledge of design and construction processes.
• Reviews job scope, definitions, and contract documents to ensure final design falls within the System standards.
• Possesses financial competence to supervise and bids plans and competitive process, manages financial commitments, invoices, and project lift cycle costs; interfaces with audit teams as required
• Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
• Performing quality control on the project(s) throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
• Develops budget, writes purchase orders, approves change orders, scope changes, and tracks and controls spending.
• Uses rational process decision making tools to determine vendor selection, design, and other key decisions throughout the project.
• Summarizes progress and provides report outs to leadership verbally and written.
• Ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks effectively during hectic periods

Requirements and Skills

• PMP, CAPM certifications are preferred
• Ability to read P&IDs, electricals and construction drawings are preferred
• Ability to effectively use MS Project or similar
• Excellent communication skills both written & verbal

• Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business or Management)
• 3+ years of Industry Business and/or Project Management experiences.
