Project Manager

We are a mid-level general construction company located in Sarasota, FL. Our project focus is on both Commercial and Residential projects. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager. Must have an open-mind and be a team player, but most importantly, be self-motivated and committed to getting projects completed on time. Candidate must have experience with permit expediting and dealing with local municipalities.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Review construction documents to identify scope of work.
• Solicit and obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors.
• Review and evaluate bids for completeness and accuracy in order to prepare detailed cost analysis.
• Maintain vendor and subcontractor relationships while developing additional resources
• Permit Expediting
• Familiarity with estimating and budgets
• Ability to do takeoffs
• Perform other related duties as required and as assigned.

Must have the following for consideration of this position:

• Full understanding of general contracting, with the ability to read and interpret plans and specifications to compile a detailed scope of work
• Strong organizational and managerial skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and project simultaneously
• Reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• No nights
• No weekends
