Position description:

Herding Filtration’s projects range from single piece of equipment supply to complete turn-key systems (which include electrical, ductwork, and many other components and devices).

The technology focuses mainly with dust collection and pneumatic conveying receivers, which clean the air on an industrial scale. The product is technical engineered solution for our customers, and processes vary from additive manufacturing to food and chemical production facilities.

As a Project Engineer you will:

- Determine the best technical solutions needed to build our equipment or systems solutions sold to our customers

- Design and validate custom solutions utilizing CAD and FEA software using engineering principals

- Assist the commercial and sales people with technical knowledge, both in house and on site with the customer (technical sales support)

- Project engineering/Planning

- Assist with selection of parts and maintenance of existing systems in the field

- Be responsible for collecting and standardizing solutions, technologies, ..

- Work with electrical engineers, controls and assist with design and implementation of our electrical control systems

- Assist multiple departments/areas within our organization implementing design, manufacturing, service/spare parts, project management, and applications.

Candidate should have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within process & fabrication industries.

This position allows for continuous growth within the company.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, mechanical or related field

- Master’s degree a plus

- Knowledge of filtration systems is not required; knowledge of industrial processes & fabrication however is a plus.

- Proficiency in CAD required (Autodesk Inventor preferred)

- Knowledge of CAM/CAE a plus

- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

- Travel to customer’s sites & suppliers will be required domestically, global travel will also be required as needed

- Process improvement mindset

- High energy, Self-motivated personality

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Represents the organization at all times in a professional, competent manner, in keeping with the high ethical standards of the organization.
