Project Coordinator - Lighting
OVERVIEW

New to lighting? Don’t worry. A project coordinator will go through an on the job lighting training program which includes but is not limited to; lighting terminology, lighting product knowledge, lighting management process, reading blueprints, the use of on-screen take of software, and other internal proprietary process and systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator plays a support role in the overall success of Wiedenbach Brown’s project business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Provide daily support to project management

· Create and manage orders, purchase orders and status reports

· Obtain shipping dates, tracking numbers and status of open shipments

· Coordinate shipments to job sites

· Create project folders

· Perform lighting quantity take offs

· Create project submittals

· Create project quotations

· Collaborate with internal accounting, purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams

· Learn about lighting on a continual basis

· Other responsibilities may evolve over time

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties acceptably. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

· Strong English written and verbal skills.

· Ability to exchange detailed information accurately.

· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and managing competing priorities.

· Lighting experience (preferred but not required)

· College degree (preferred but not required)
