Job Description
PART- TIME , 20- HOURS PER WEEK . BENEFITS ELIGIBLE .

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day support to the Burton Blatt (BBI) Project team and multiple partners involved in a multi-county project in California. The project coordinator will create and maintain a master calendar to monitor deliverables, deadlines, payments and staff schedules; coordinate conference calls; develop agendas and take minutes; act as liaison among BBI, subcontractors, County contacts and other departments at Syracuse University; and prepare required forms necessary.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Job Specific Qualifications
  • Excellent knowledge MS applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, ensuring documents created are accessible.
  • Proven ability to learn new software applications and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills in person, in writing, by telephone, and by email; demonstrating professionalism, courtesy, and respect to a variety of audiences
  • Flexibility and ability to multi-task among multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strategies to track and report progress of multiple projects and alert researchers when problems arise.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of in-person and virtual meetings; planning, implementation, logistics and follow up.
  • Obtain, draft, and maintain multiple required contracting and vendor documents, maintain files.
  • Create and maintain financial tracking systems of project budgets, expenditures and projections.
  • Ensure reporting deadlines are met and assist in writing and producing reports for funders.
