Position Summary:
We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Gear and Lighting Teams in Jessup, MD! The ideal candidate will provide Project Management support services for all areas of the Gear and Lighting departments. This person will contribute to both departmental missions, delivering exceptional service to customers while maintaining the highest standards for courtesy, knowledge and ethics.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Initiate job folders.
  • Maintain a bid list for gear and lighting and log jobs; email the list to appropriate manufacturers (Excel).
  • Maintain a bid log for all gear and lighting jobs by customer.
  • Update status and distribute the log to Outside Sales/Account Managers and Sales management.
  • Copy and bind submittals.
  • Proactively expedite jobs daily utilizing SQD’s MYSE system and Job Management.
    • Update customers
    • Update Gear and Lighting sales people as appropriate
  • Maintain literature for customer and salespeople review.
  • Adhere to all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Act in a safe and positive manner always, ensure that those around you do not put themselves or others at risk. Your personal safety is your responsibility.
  • Complete an accident/Incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or witnessed.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or required.

Qualifications:
  • A high level of interpersonal understanding
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of Excel
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Adobe Writer or eCopy experience preferred
  • Minimum High School Diploma; Associates degree or equivalent training
