Job Description Summary
JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT
In support of the mission of Project BEAR: Building Emerging and Achieving Readers, the AmeriCorps Service Member will serve students in non-profit early childhood partner sites throughout Scioto County serving children birth-age 5 promoting literacy development in the region. Members will receive a stipend payment per month, plus an Education Award upon successful contract completion. Placements in schools will be made according to the applicant’s geographic location, preference, and district needs.
