EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field preferred.
One or more years previous experience in behavioral health with population of the facility preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide patient care to include coordinating activities, providing companionship and assisting with basic daily needs (dressing, bathing, eating).
- Collaborate with treatment team members to assist with patient treatment and/or care goals.
- May serve as a co-lead for groups.
- Monitor the daily well-being of patients and identify need for social intervention.
- Ensure all documentation regarding the program, such as care, treatment or incidents, is completed in a clear, concise, professional and completed in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
Experience
Required- 1 year(s): One years working experience
- 1 - 2 years: One year’s supervisory experience and/or two years in-house experience preferred.
Education
Required- High School/GED or better
- Bachelors or better in Nursing/Healthcare or related field
