Job description
Provides resource support and training to members of the community, staff and program participants to facilitate agency and program goals. Program Aid I and II levels based on size of overall responsibility including but not limited to geographic area, number of participants served, number of staff, amount of fiscal responsibility. For Prevention, the Program Aid will be a mentor for the STEPS Youth Program, assist Coordinator with Life Skills and other education classes, assist Coalition with environmental policies and media activities, and assist Manager with other special projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of related experience working with people with alcohol and/or drug addictions or alcohol education or prevention programs, or related nonprofit experience.
Required knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in MS Word
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to document, communicate verbally and in writing, and in a culturally competent and sensitive manner.
- Knowledge of alcohol and drug addiction treatment, education or prevention services
NOTE: Employees will be required to be fingerprinted, TB tested and vaccinated, with COVID-19 Booster, and will be subject to clearance by the Department of Justice
