T2 Utility Engineers specializes in providing accurate surveys and maps of all types for a wide range of clients. Our Survey technicians are responsible for creating field preparation files and documents for the field crews, data management, processing, drafting maps, building digital databases, and creating various data reports. The ability to communicate with the project Surveyor, other survey and utility office personnel as well as the field crews will be key to the daily duties and success.

T2 Utility Engineers specializes in providing reliable underground and above-ground utility information to reduce the risks that utilities present for infrastructure projects. T2ue helps clients manage the complexity of existing utilities with our professional and comprehensive Subsurface Utility Engineering, Utility Coordination, and Surveying services.

Our mission is to provide project stakeholders with quality utility information, professional insight, and deliverables that streamline construction, improve project safety, and set the standard for the utility engineering industry. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct surveys on land sites and properties
• Examine previous records and evidence to ensure data accuracy
• Research and design methods for survey processes
• Use equipment and tools to accurately measure land features (e.g. longitudes, latitudes)
• Build maps, sketches, and charts
• Supervise and provide guidance to field staff
• Purchase and maintain equipment
• Report on survey results and present findings to clients
• Collaborate with engineers and architects on several projects

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a surveyor or in a similar role
• Working knowledge of GPS and GIS
• Tech savvy, including familiarity with CAD software
• Aptitude in math and problem-solving
• Attention to detail
• Great organizational and leadership skills
• Degree in Geomatics or a similar field
• Valid PLS certificate is required

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
